Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles mainly danced to hip-hop music. The three main hip-hop styles are breaking, locking, and popping. All of these styles have evolved since 1970s and were made famous dance crews in the US. It is widely accepted that hip-hop originated in the West Bronx, NY, at block parties that DJ Kool Herc, known as the Father of Hip-hop, organized.

Our hip-hop dance lessons incorporate drops and swift footwork, gestures associated with mock-battle forms, and moves on the floor including spins like the helicopter, freezes, and many other sick moves!
